Is there an online listing of all the blind radio stations on a webpage someplace. Or a better question would be is did Serotek make an online version of there IBlink radio, or if not, is there a list that is just as good?

What is IBlink Radio?
can you still get it?

Tapin radio has all sorts of stations. It's easy to use. ACB radio is on there.

I think the iBlink Radio app for your Apple device is one of the best resources for listening to radio stations owned by blind folks. It doesn't have every last one in there. I don't think Celrock Radio is there or the Q or LLJ-FM, but everybody else is there, including a lot of the more smallfry stations taht don't promote as much as let's say Mushroom FM or Team-FM might. Other than that I know of no website where all of them are gathered with links to websites and streams.

Not sure. It's made by Serotek, so they'd be the best ones to ask.

Don't you have to pay for Tapin radio? If so, how much is it?

You can, but you don't have to.

I'm sorry, but that's a stupid name. I would personally never use something called IBlink.

You need iBlink for an Android device? I know that's the only other version that exists outside of IOS. Googling around is a good idea.

Has anyone noticed that when streaming audio, the BrailleNote crashes? I am listening to Mush FM, and boom! The damn thing crashes!

Wow, I didn't know it did that. I guess that's just one more reason I'll never use the internet on my Braille Note.

Seriously, there are more negatives about the new BrailleNote apexthan I anticipated, and I regret getting it.
Anyway, more related to the topic, there used to be a radio station in the community college in my home town in high school. It was ran by blind and visually impaired folks, but sadly they couldn't fund it and it went out of business back in 08 or 09.

That's a shame. Well, I think that Serotek should make a webpage for all the stuff on IBlink Radio.

So, someone please 'splain to me the benefits of the blind-only stations?
I do understand with the iBlinkRadio it is things you can get from no place else.
But generally if it's a stream I want at work, I use stuff from online like the NewNormal streams, SomaFM or the like.
Again, I totally understand with the iBlink app seeeing as it has content you cannot possibly get elsewhere.
And it's been my observation that the MushroomFM station is run well and works with TuneIn radio player but most their music I'm not into. It simply seems odd to select a stream because the person is blind, just as it would seem odd if someone selected against a stream because the owner was blind. Accepting, of course, the informative stuff they now have for us on the iBlink Radio, even the reading services where audio books are broadcast. That all makes sense. But for music, it seems you'd just point at a stream and go. Unless I'm missing something.

No, I just clicked with some of the streams. It is very odd, how it happened.

All the stations on iBlink are also on the Serotek SAM Net web system. But you must subscribe for a fee. iBlink is easiest to download from iTunes.

I just wanted to clarify something. IBlink Radio app from Serotek is available both for IOS and Android. I use it in both platforms. And bye the way, also TuneinRadio is available on both worlds! Cheers

iBlink is free of charge, though SAM Net is not free. iBlink also lists all of the radio reading services around the U.S. that stream.
